Annotation: Anti-Spam Protection
This is a modification of the excellent (and free) Annotation Comment System. It adds a whole set of Anti-Spam Protection features, which will allow you to protect your site from spamming, flooding, mass-posting, usage of offensive words etc. It also allows you to blacklist unwanted IPs or E-Mail addresses and much more.
FEATURES:
- Disallow multiple postings from the same user on the same article on the same day
- Define how often a user may post on an article on the same day
- Define a delay a user has to wait before he can post again
- Define the maximum amount of characters allowed per comment
- Define the maximum amount of characters allowed for Name, E-mail and Homepage
- Disallow the usage of forbidden words
- Define bad words that will automatically be masked in the user's comment (e.g. "badword" becomes "*******")
- Blacklist multiple IP addresses or whole IP ranges
- Blacklist multiple E-Mail addresses or whole domains
- Strip HTML tags from the comments
- All Anti-Spam features may be disabled for registered users
- The whole Anti-Spam protection may be disabled for users of a certain level (e.g. Administrator and higher)

INSTALLATION:
Unzip the downloaded archive to your local harddrive retaining the directory structure, then upload to your website, overwriting the original files in the process (make a backup first!)
