Joomla! Hacks & Patches

Title says it all. Here I'll put hacks or mods of Joomla core or of Joomla extensions that I think someone might find usefull. I have many of those, just need the time to sort out which ones are worthy enough to be released (Ok, the backend hitcounter probably wasn't worthy enough, but I use it quite frequently and this way I'll always have it when I need it, also the page won't look so empty anymore with it).

Annotation: Anti-Spam Protection

This is a modification of the excellent (and free) Annotation Comment System. It adds a whole set of Anti-Spam Protection features, which will allow you to prevent mass-posting, usage of offensive words, blacklist unwanted IPs or E-mail addresses and more.

Joomla! Backend HitCounter

If the Joomla! Statistics are enabled every visitor of your site is counted and information about his system is collected, but there is no display of the overall count of visitors your site had. This small and easy to apply hack will add this usefull information to your admin backend menu.
